Transient brain dynamics in healthy subjects and people with multiple sclerosis

Subject

In this master thesis, the student will characterise MEG signals using coherence connectivity dynamics (CCD). The histogram of the CCD contains valuable information about the time-dependencies of envelope phase dynamics.

Once the CCD can be calculated for a single subject, the student will be able to apply his method to 100 subjects affected by multiple sclerosis and 50 healthy controls. This will allow him/her to compare this method to other methods (e.g. static connectivity, hidden-markov model properties) and between the two groups of subjects.

Framework of the Thesis

This project fits within the development of a biomarker of cognitive impairment in Multiple Sclerosis.
