Embedded Hardware Security ■
With a growing number of devices connecting to the internet, security must be established between hardware, cloud applications and servers, and finally users and services. Nowadays embedded systems integrate multiple secure capabilities, which intend to address the security needs that IoT applications demand.
Prof. An Braeken would be also co-promoter of this master thesis proposal.
The objective of this master thesis is to evaluate the embedded security that microcontrollers among other embedded devices provide nowadays. Realistic applications in the context of healthcare monitoring will be used to evaluate the embedded security that such devices support.
Expected Student Profile ■
Interested in security, embedded systems or wearables.
Experience with Python or C/C++.
