Sadat is a PhD student in Engineering Sciences (Artificial Intelligence) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB).

He completed his Master’s in Information and Communication Engineering at Chosun University, South Korea (2021–2023). During his Master’s studies, his research focused on artificial intelligence, computer vision, and deep learning, with particular emphasis on generative adversarial networks (GANs) and medical image analysis.

Before starting his PhD, Sadat worked as an Artificial Intelligence Researcher at DeltaX.ai in Seoul, South Korea. There, he contributed to automotive perception systems, including computer vision–based depth estimation, pose estimation, and real-time deployment-oriented proof-of-concepts. This experience strengthened his ability to translate research ideas into practical system-level solutions.

During his Master’s and research work, Sadat conducted extensive research on deep learning methods for image analysis, including classification, segmentation, and representation learning using modern neural network architectures.

Currently, he is a doctoral researcher at imec and a member of the ETRO research group at VUB. His PhD research focuses on radar-based perception for autonomous systems, with an emphasis on 3D human body reconstruction and human pose estimation using learning-based and signal processing approaches.
