Spin-off creation fund for Transient Radar Methodology.brThe Transient Radar Methodology comprises a novel and unique high-frequency electromagnetic methodology for the non-destructive testing of non-conductive materials, comprising also visibly opaque (composite) materials. The method, operating essentially in reflection mode, is contactless and fully blind, meaning not any priori information about the materials or structures under investigation is needed. The method can deal with single and multi-layer structures and allows to determine important features of each layer individually by means of electromagnetic (EM) measurements and EM parameter determination: layer thickness (e.g. scanning of the multilayer structure of external insulating walls and determination of properties and thickness of the insulation layer), density, porosity, curing state, phase transitions, temperature, defects (e.g. cracks or delaminations.
