In this paper, we present a robust camera stabilization approach for traffic monitoring. Motion vectors are used to first detect the road-regions in the image sequences, then the image is stabilized by estimating the affine model parameters of the camera. Both qualitative and quantitative results are given to illustrate the robustness of the proposed approach.
