The reconstruction of the images in electroimpedance tomography (EIT) is based on incomplete and inaccurate data. Assuming a non-uniqueness of the reconstruction process a quantitative appraisal of reconstructed image is necessary for its successful interpretation. Some useful tools for appraisal of the image are presented in the paper.
