Abstract

In a simulation study three different electrode arrays were examined from the perspective of their possible application to mine detection. Optimal excitation patterns were calculated for each of these electrode arrays, and the corresponding sensitivity function was derived. It was found that the sensitivity is the most uniform for the rectangular electrode array.
