Nastaran Nourbakhsh Kaashki is a PhD researcher at the Electronics and Informatics (ETRO)department of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Belgium. She received her ASc (2006) at Shariaty Technical College, her BSc (2009) at Zanjan University, and her MSc (2014) at Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) in Computer Engineering-Artificial Intelligence. In the period 2014-2018, she was a research and development engineer working on artificial-intelligence-based image processing projects in a company, Tehran, Iran. She joined the ETRO department in 2018. Her research interests are in computer vision and deep learning.
